Weekend in Dublin
I haven't posted in a few weeks but I am for Dublin next weekend for a tradition music festival.
When I'm down there I'm also going for a shave at "Knights on the green" as a wee treat to myself.
This is just a warning to prepare for a lot of posts from shaving to whiskey and beer, with a bit of food thrown in.
Also if anyone is experienced with Dublin feel free to suggest anything you think I should see/do

I've tickets to see Bellowhead, on the Friday night. They're a big English folk band, big in popularity and size. You should check them out.
Pretty much gonna pub crawl my way around the rest of the time and hopefully find some new favourites.
The full list is available online if you're interested. Temple bar Tradfest 2014

It's this coming weekend. Heading down on Friday morning until Sunday afternoon.
Really looking forward to it.
I've never had a professional shave so it should be interesting.
I'll post plenty of details when I get home

Yep, I overlooked next earlier.
Have you heard of the Waldorf barber shop? There is an interview with the owner by Obie here at SRP.

Take some pics if you make it to the Waldorf. I wonder if you can bring in your own razor to be shaved with.
Hope they are still in business.

Thanked: 3I have lived in Dublin for 6 years now. Might I recommend a visit to the Celtic Whiskey Shop at the Stephen's Green end of Dawson Street. Wonderful selection there.
The best pint of Guinness there is can be found at Kehoe's on South Anne Street.
It's a bit out of the way, but if you like seafood and traditional Irish music, Johnny Fox's pub is spectacular in every way.
Have a great time!
