    This.

Beretta Model '34 9kurz. The safety is for crap. You need to be in serious combat to carry one safety-off, a cap in the pipe and no padlocked holster flap; and about half of the hot casings discharge on top of your head. Geeeezo. It feels like it was sprayed into my hand. It is beautiful, practically art. It's like, who ever saw an ugly Ferrari and who ever saw a Ferrari with more than 20,000 miles on the clock? Italians... they DO have an eye for beauty.

Still would hit what and where I needed to, but I think I like the standard length mag for CCW.
I hear you - I don't much care for the extensions either. I mean I have them all:

    Including the "zombie mag"

But I rather like two finger grip. The Gap "grip" isn't an extension per se, it's more of... well I don't know how to describe it, but as you can see, it doesn't extend the mag. I really love the thing.

LOL - you're a minute man!! Chase em back to Canada where they belong LOL !!

All joking aside - I am A. Glad you didn't have to shoot a cat and B. in love with your revolvers. I guess deep down I am a traditionalist at heart! Those are fine looking weapons. I would be proud.

I love the lever too!! Thanks for taking the pictures.

I think that 45-70 guide gun is very cool but .. if the recoil is anything like my Winchester/Miroku 1885 in 45-70, I'll let the big guys deal with it.

Dad rebarreled a period '86 .45-70 in half-round, half octagon. He shot a few deer with it, put it away for 40 years then gave it to me. I took it out and shot 3 rounds to zero, was awed, hurt my shoulder and put it away 20 years ago. If I ever go back for more I will mind my stock-to-shoulder weld.

my perfect fit used to be my H&K USP 9mm , but since it has been long gone and the price has doubled i have found 2 that fit just as nice !!
i dont go any place with out my Glock 26 with front trijicon sight and finger extended mag , and spare mag on my weak side !! and i always keep this Bersa Thunder .380 in the vehicle as a back up and it is always in quick reach .. i have no doubts of reliability of either and loaded with Hornady critical defense rounds

The past recoil shield turned a frog into a princess for me. I got that rifle (1885 Win 45-70) and cried uncle after two rounds. I went home with my tail between my legs. Then I heard about the past shield, bought it, and went to the range, fired 30 -40 rounds and had a ball. Amazon.com: Past Mag Shield: Sports & Outdoors So pick one these up and get that 45-70 out of the mothballs and out to the range and shoot in comfort.

I really like the look of the CZ75, though maybe only because I like their rifles so much. Never held or shot one, though, so what do I know...

Never held one either but I know one guy who swears by them and hear a lot of good things about them. Speaking of handguns that fit the hand, the Browning Hi-Power is one of my favorites. If it wasn't so big I'd be carrying my .40 cal.

Agreed my "go to town" carry weapon is a Beretta 85F .380 it really does just sweep sweetly right into my hand, just purrs as you shoot it too, recoil is minimal, muzzle flip is non-existent, no blinding flash, or deafening boom... Just a beauty

I also like the big brother 92FS but not for CCW
