Thanked: 1195One of the neatest belts I've ever seen was at a leather shop in Puerto Vallarta. It was made of snake skin and the buckle was the snake's head. How's that for using the whole animal? lol

No "Like" button for that,,,,,,,,,,,a snake that close to my Privates all day, would leave me feeling a little uncomfortable, to say the least,,,

Thanked: 101I have a leather Dillon belt I used to wear a good bit. It is 2 ply with a nice heavy brass buckle w/roller. It has shrunk through the years and I have had to add an extra hole.....I also wear a good bit of "Riggers belts". I wore them for years in uniform and still like them. I am now (like right now) wearing a Wilderness Instructor's belt with my G36 @ 4 o' clock. I like it a lot. It is the black one about 2-3 sizes too big. They advise you get the belt big and they are right. It is nice, American made and guaranteed/warrantied. I thought about the 5/11 belt, but could find nothing on the site about where it was made, or any kind of guarantee. The Wilderness has been around since the early 80s.

Saddleback leather has some nice belts. Bill's khakis has some too, made in the U.S though pricey. I don't know if they are still in operation or not but Galco was pretty well known among LEO's.
