Belts
Finally got myself a good belt; better late than never. Anyone who carries tools or weapons knows the need for a good belt. This one should last me for a while. I wore it tonight with a G-19 in the waistband. There was a big difference in the support. I searched South Florida last month for a good belt & did not find one. Yes, there were lots of fancy /dress belts, but no good daily wear belts.
I decided on having one made by "The Beltman" or "A&G Custom Gun Leather". I choose A&G in Gainesville, Georgia. I liked the fact that A&G used PayPal as a payment method. Both companies are family run & well mentioned.
If you have experiences with belts, in all aspects of daily life, then feel free to mention them here.
Thanks for looking,
Hirlau

My favorite was a bridle leather belt made by Duluth Pack. Sadly, that belt was chewed on by my dog, so it is only worn when camping and hunting.

Their specialty is canvas packs for canoeing. They also make other types of bags like messenger bags, totes, and day packs. Duluth Pack bags are made in the USA of canvas and leather. The stuff I own made by them has stood up to hard use.

If anyone has a belt maker that is equivalent to this gentleman let me know. The one I have after wearing it every day for years is starting to show a little wear and you never know if I might need to dress up for a dinner with the president.

I use Loopers for daily abuse and Beltman for dress. I have had the Loopers in two colors for over seven years you can tell the two positions I cinch the belt to, IWB, OWB other than that like new.
The Beltman's are about five years old, 1 1/4" bull hide I use for dress. They support full size firearms great but are not used as often, they look like new as well and are crafted in the U.S.
Loopers will continue to be my daily beaters, with the dual layer, internal stiffener, and price point they are great belts.
I will replace my Beltman's with Beltman's if they ever wear out....It is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!

I have an old Harley Davidson belt, it's really nice leather and well made with quality fittings. I though I'd treat myself to a new one and ordered one from an HD dealer's website.
All I can say is that if the quality of HD motorcycles today matches their dealer accessories, then things are on a downhill slide.
