    a few catfish and a big smile ... got into a few of them in a river by me right at dusk ....

    I agree !! I love some fried Cajun , beer battered catfish fillets !! if I had a stringer with me , we would have kept them ..lol

    Hey Bill, Maybe Oz catfish are crap to eat. Don't be too hard on him.
    He knows his critters better than I do.

    Catfish over here, excepting maybe bullheads and mud cats, are good if fixed right.

    So True wullie.cats we get out of the Sacramento river are tainted with mercury (thanks to the gold rush)
    But has no effect on the taste

    Lake Worth which has had THE BOMBER PLANT ( Consolidated, Vultee, Convair, General Dynamics and now Lockheed-Martin All the same place, just different names) got polluted with heavy metal run off from the plant. Signs all over the lake state that the fish are inedible.

    Funny thing about that is that the water is safe to drink as Ft Worth uses water from the lake.........

    There's a B-36 in the bottom of it too. It's all smashed flat, but its all there. Right at the N end of Runway 35.
