There are a lot of combat vets here,,,, here at SRP, a shaving forum, we are allowed a few firearm threads,,, we don't allow it to get serious, because it leads to fights among us, we don't discuss the politics of the subject, firearms. We have threads on "cleaning, concealed carry (show & tell only) & a general thread on "Show & tell" your firearms.
I take the care & maintenance of my firearms seriously & so do the rest of the guys here,,,it's meant to be a, "share your method, thread."

Thanked: 1936I too will be doing some cleaning today. Loaned my G-26, G-19, and a 1911 to a friend who is trying to find his and his wife's right CCW as well as having a weapon for their CCW class they took. He returned them dirty, but no matter...I would have cleaned them "my way" anyways. Besides, I've got some FrogLube to try out.

Thanked: 227Sorry for reviving a dead topic....
I have a shooting bag, all my cleaning and maintenance gear lives in a couple of molle pouches mounted on the front.
Keeps it tidied away and easily to hand.

Always clean. Take care of your guns and they’ll work when you need them to.
