Thanked: 581You can buy the e-cigs here but not the juice with the nicotine in it, would be keen to try otherwise. Our government is putting the price of tobacco up by 10% every 6 months.

Well I started another thread about vaping without searching for established threads. I know, newb move. Anyways glad to see there are some members here that do use e-cigs because I really didn't want to start at a new forum for this.
Anyways I have been vaping for about 3 months now. Started with the Blu E-cigs and two days later I upgraded to a pen type deal and just recently I finally did the holy grail of upgrades for me at least. I now have a Sigelie 75w temperature control mod and a UD Imp dripper. The flavor is abosuletely amazing compared to using the pen type devices and the blu cigs I was disappointed with immediately.
Im not really into the whole "cloud chasing" deal. To me people who are into trying to make the biggest clouds are like people trying to have a super loud exhaust on a honda civic. Its just unnecessary. However, the vapor production on this thing is absolutely ridiculous. Really too much. It is satisfying as the draws feel heavier than from a pen type e-cig and thus more resemblant of a cigarette, however it has made vaping in the car impossible/unsafe. Its possible but I can't even see the steering wheel when I exhale. And when I roll the windows down, billows of smoke pour out and I feel like I might get pulled over by a cop thinking its something else.
Anyways, I switched to e-cigs about 3 months ago after smoking for 7 years. I switched because had just given birth to our first child. After she gave birth I went to go smoke a cigarette and just felt absolutely guilt ridden about lighting up. So the next chance I got I went and got some of those blu cigs from 7-11. I had tried to quit smoking several times before using traditional methods like patches and gum and even chantrix but nothing worked. Except for e-cigs of course. True its not really quitting just substituting, but still. I mean one has 4000 chemicals and the other has 4 ingredients all recognized by the FDA as at least "GRAS". And depending on what company makes your juices you can get organic e-juice. I personally don't like the way that propylene glycol makes my throat itch so I get juice with none in it. So really with just the water, nicotine, VG, and flavorings theres really no harm except for what nicotine may cause, which I am at 3mg now and next week will be going to 0. I started out at 24mg. Oh and i tried smoking a cigarette a month or two back and it was the most disgusting thing to have touched my lips. Amazing how effective this method of smoking cessation has worked compared to even chantrix.

Thanked: 4207Good story cosperryan.
What flavour/brand are you using without the glycol? I am not a fan of that itch either.
Funny how you mention the plumes of white vap cloud. Can spot a vaper from the billows coming out of the window or sunroof everytime.
Cheers.

Right now I'm using little miss by mercury vapor and before that some mango lychee by drip n clouds. Most of the premium e juices that come in the glass bottles and are made for making clouds are going to have either all vg or mostly vg either makes the pg unnoticeable plus the flavors are awesome

Thanked: 26Making your own liquid is really straight forward too cosperryan, even more so if your going full VG, you can get nicotine in VG and it lasts for a long time as depending on the strength liquid your making you are only using small quantities and the VG on its own is pretty cheap. the only pg that i use is flavour concentrate, pretty hard to find it in VG sometimes but it is a really small amount of the mix.

True. I have definitely thought about it a few times. Right now I am still trying to figure out what flavors I really like and which ones I don't like. Last week I had some skull and crossbones by Vigilante. I told the lady at the shop I wanted to get something whacky flavored. She said it was a bourbon flavor and it is not. Its of a sweet rum and vanilla flavor. Its good, like really really good, but not whiskey or bourbon which is a very elusive flavor apparently when it comes to high quality juice.
