Thanked: 1587You can't get more American than Chuck Norris. And you can't get more Chuck Norris than action jeans! And you can't get more action jeans than a hidden gusset!!!

There is also Bills Khakis. The say all their items are "cut and sewn in the U.S" though the materials are foreign sourced.

As much as I advocate buying USA made goods (for USA citizens) paying near, or more than $100 bucks for a pair of jeans is something that rubs me the wrong way. Of course it was a long time ago, but I remember buying Levi jeans, when you had to get them 1"larger in the waist, and 2" longer in the length, because they all would shrink upon washing. No such thing as pre washed, stone washed or stretch jeans back in the those days. The denim was heavier if memory serves, or maybe that is just nostalgia ........ but they were $5.00 a pair and made in the good old USA.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I had some Chuck Norris jeans back in the early 80s. Something I learned was that you actually need to know how to kick like Chuck Norris before you can kick in Chuck Norris jeans. For the record, I'm pretty sure these jeans were not officially licensed by Norris.

Thanked: 56How long ago was that? $5 jeans? Even the Gap outlet sells then for $25. I got 2 pairs of jeans from Target, their house brand, Mossimo or whatever it is, and they were the most ill-fitting jeans I ever owned. Whatever they cost, every penny was a waste.
I don't wear jeans anymore, I just choose to wear more comfortable pants, but as long as you aren't paying for a name, you're paying for quality.

That was when straight razors were 5 bucks too
These days you can get them for $5 or less if they're made in China or vicinity, jeans, gold dollars, badger brushes, anything really...
Speaking of denim here's something interesting - growing extremely high quality cotton does happen in the U.S. of A and not in Asia but it doesn't look anything like it used to. No more hundreds of black slaves involved, just one free man sitting largely bored in the cabin of a very expensive robot.
