Here's one I use:
The glass opens down and has a stop to hold it at 90º. It also catches any razor that I am clumsy enough to drop!!
I also use it as an easel for my SOTDs
There can be many variations on this theme! Size, backdrop, case depth dimensions, etc. Latch on top keeps little fingers away.

The cabinet that I built.100+ year old Brazillian mahogany with tung oil, hand rub lacquer, and Renwax. Holds my current rotation of razors and brushes. The top molding hides a CrOx paddle strop, razor oil, and DE blades behind it.I should have made it bigger...
