I haven't had actual (TV) for about 8 years and the only thing I miss is the Food Network.
I find enough quality video for my needs with Netflix and sometimes YouTube. Of course there is always the Internet for finding News:
But there again you're talking about a Mastodon here

I don't watch much TV when I am at work and the PVR gets most of them for me and the rest I get from iTunes. The inter web is too slow here for Netflix. I am sure I could waste an eternity watching some of the PBS shows. A guy can only spend so many hours a day on the tube. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

I,m actually rediscovering tv since retirement, at work for weeks on end I just never watched it! Like Shaun we were isolated and they got us sattelite tv but I didn't hang out in the break rooms much. Old western movies is really all I watch as a habit, but have discovered some other things I like,
The Big Bang Theory, makes me laugh
But these reality programs get me so darn mad I had to quit watching them, forgive me if I hate on one of your programs, but I am so sick of people getting on tv , getting paid and then crying the blues about how broke they are, or every moment of their existence is in life threatening mortal danger. (Life below zero) oh heck all of them shows! My wife and my doctor made me quit watching( blood pressure)
To be honest when riding season starts I don't even need a tv, and I have every John Wayne movie on DVD . Plus I do have the complete collection of Lonesome Dove, the greatest western ever! Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”
