I just got this less than two weeks ago. A 99 TT. And then did a 5000k road trip. Seen here somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

Thanked: 227I drive a toyota aygo. I did drive a vw golf which was a lovely car.
But i crashed it into stationary objects a couple of times so the wife took the keys off of me.
Saying that, I quite like my little aygo. It's quite nippy for a 1l, and it's cheap to run.

Thanked: 351Back in the day, I rode a Moto Guzzi 850T, later, when I once again wandered into the 2 wheel scene, I ended up with a 1983 Yamaha Venture which I converted to an 84+ish unit.... (bought a wreck and grabbed all the electronics off it). Some 60.000.00 miles later I got bored with it (Mrs. too) and we sold it and bought a pop up camping trailer instead.
Today I drive a (gulp) Hyundai!
Still have fond memories of a ride where I swapped my 850T for a Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans.... that thing was rock solid on the road and the scenery went by oh so fast!
Maryland889 has the right idea... an "Iron Duke" is a fine ride.... I do however question his sanity when he selects a TOYota truck..... OK, fess up time... I bought a 1985 Toyota truck myself..... it rusted before my eyes.... I never bought another Toyota! It was a rock solid mechanical marvel, but the sheet metal, and the way it was joined, was crap.
Today, in my twilight years.... I'm drifting towards ditching the Hyundai and getting one of them newfangled Chevy Colorado trucks. I don't know why.... I just want one.
Regards

Mine is a 1999 Ford F250 V10. Wouldn't trade it for a new one.

Thanked: 98Jmercer, Sammy must have gotten around a lot. I Can't drive 55 either.
Bought a Porsche one day, an 65 Super coupe which turned into an Turbo Carrerra, and 100mph every place but right in the city posted 25 mph, ended up racing Porsche's and spending way too much $$ on them, would love to have another but would be running Hot all the time with a cop after me. Really.

Thanked: 4206A new, to me Pacifica All wheel drive added to the family fleet today.
Seen here beside my hybrid Corrado.
I picked up the Pacifica mostly because the price was right (3k) and it was all wheel drive. A must have in our winters, IMO.
100 cubic feet of cargo space and a hitch package didn't hurt either.
Needed something to replace my Avalanche when I have stuff to haul.

Thanked: 227We are three kids in now...
No room in the VW and definitely no room in the Aygo.
So we bought a vauxhaul zafira. For all intent and purpose a 7 seater tank. It's rather very roomy, but handles like a bus lol.
However it does fit us 3 kids and associated child seats and small folk gubbins.
