The Milt Sparks Versa Max II is about as good as it gets for me. The first IWB holster I bought was a Mernickle with the belt clip. I telephoned to ask questions before I ordered it. The gal I spoke to said, "If you have 'love handles' you may not find an IWB holster comfortable." That wasn't a concern so I ordered it.

I've used the clip holsters from Mernickle, Kramer, and DeSantis with no issues. Carrying at around 5 O'clock. The VMII is the best, I also have a Milt Sparks gun belt which, as Max and John said, makes a big difference in supporting the weight of the firearm. The belt is double thickness.

I especially do not like my current holster, because it has poor retention. Nothing like having your side arm free itself and go skittering away to make you panic!
