So my Agave has finally topped out at about 16 ft.

So will that outgrowth just stay that way for awhile or will it topple over? :shrug:

The flowers will be like this for about six weeks, then they throw off a million seeds. The plant will die soon after. The whole thing will start to topple over in 6 or 8 weeks. My best guess. I'll post more photos as it progresses.

no pictures yet Roy but the wife has stomped down the tops of the Walla Walla onions she said some were huge Tc

Why wait. That's what people here do with the stalks. They also hollow them out and make Didgeridoos.

We decided it was about time to make a vegetable garden in the back yard.
I got some lumber , two concrete bricks to use as a saw horse , landscaper's cloth , and galvanized mesh and got to work.

We planted tomatoes, peppers and cucumber seeds.

As you know it's 'IFFY' that I'll be able to spend time with you and that very lovely bride of yours this year, I was hoping for a 'Rain Check' for next year as I doubt that either of us will be around when those seeds produce a plant that will yield another stalk.

With all that said, there is still a chance of us once again getting together this year. :tu

Finally got my widdle pepper plants into the garden Sunday, along with a row of bush beans.
The tomato plants are residual from the last 4 years, I dig up the ones I want to keep, spray and till the rest. ( cherry )
