Neato Botvac is a superb robot as well. It has absolutely no trouble with hairs. But currently thinking about something new. What could advise from the list Best robot vacuum 2017: 16 reviews of popular robot cleaners

After reading this, I may have to give the Roomba a try AGAIN. My first go round the thing found its way into the fireplace and filled with ashes. Needless to say, it was ruined. With 2 dogs, Labshedder being one, and 3 kids, any help we can get to keep things clean is a huge help.
I am curious if the 980 really has 5X more suction than the 960. Also, we have no carpets so that feature is not needed.
I'm glad to hear first hand positive experiences!

Thanked: 315Some of these vacuums are supposed to have a feature that allows you to set up points that the vacuum will not go past. I would that k that would help if you have an open fire place.
I would like to have one of these once I move into a bigger place, Lord willing.
I can definitely see this happening.
