I've just purchased this little number...a 1955 Plymouth Savoy...in almost mint condition. Running a straight 6, on 6v...will see how I get along with that before deciding whether to upgrade to a 12v.

So far, still need to run a final bead both sides, and put a top cap of 16 gage to match the original flange style beam, but not bad.

It’s all hidden by paint and rear valance. As long as it’s strong, I’m happy.
First and foremost--Congratulations on 30 years of marriage! :bow
Perhaps it's an optical illusion OR perhaps it's supposed to look that way-- but the new piece seems to angle upward. Just wondering :shrug:
Thirty uears is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations for sure!
Room for the top cap so it may look a little off. And it did pull up a bit during the welding, but as long as the holes line up, it’ll be fine.
Congratulations Mike! :tu
Nice work and congrats on 30 years. My ol’ lady and I are at 20 years. As long as we live to our late 60s and 70s we could get to 30 years but with the way the world is going they might start killing off the old like that old movie.
Happy Anniversary Mike!
Looks like good progress.
Pete <:-}
Happy anniversary and may you have many more.

Remember the moment very clearly still, dessert came and the new bride was wondering if she could eat the lil harp on the ice cream. I leaned in and told her it was her day, she could eat anything on the table... hehe.
Funny how time works. I still see this image and see Ruthy still loooks the same to me...
Cheers men.
