Thanked: 0Let's see, I've had Glenkinchie, Highland Park, and the MacCallen. Glenkinchie was a surprise for me since I thought it was too light when I first got it, but it grew on me and I began to pick out more nuances in it. Highland Park and MacCallen were both delicious malty-sweet scotches with a little bit of smoke to it. I'm currently trying to track down Isle of Jura and the Laphroaig. I've heard the Laphroaig is pretty intense .

Thanked: 2I opened a bottle of Isle of Jura last night. My impression was that it was just ok. It was decent enough, but a little light on the smoke for my tastes. To me, it resembled Dalwhinnie but less smooth. I'll give it another try in a few minutes...

All of them.
There are so many different flavors, and you won't know if you like them until you try.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I am using that excuse with the wife and razors. I have to try different styles/sizes/grinds/brands so I know what is good and what is not. It is working for now so I am riding the wave.

So far I failed to come up with convincing arguments...
