Thanked: 0for dry denim you only wash it once every 6 months of continuous wear. That way you get all the fading and creases to remain permanent in them. The washing enhances the contrast in the folds and gives them their unique colouring and style.
I do have some jeans that I wash more often. But to get the smell out of them I either just air them outside when it's nice or i put them in the freezer overnight. Works wonders!
I like to buy stuff that i find in local shops as oppose to buying online so far my collection has been of 7 jeans, nudie, jack and jones, I've also found I like true religion and citizens since they're comfy. But since I got my nudies I'm starting to try and find more dry denim to try out. Maybe i'll buy my first pair of Levi's soon...maybe i'm weird that i've never had a pair of levi's! they're almost the archetype and all.

Huh...What about hygiene? Is it me or is this idea of not washing your jeans just a little bizarre and, dare I say.a little filthy?
