I enjoy nasal snuffs from time to time. My wife does too. Especially when we go to the movies where you cant smoke and it's dark and noone can see you do it. One of our favs is Ozona Rasberry snuff.

    Default Tabaco multitasking

    'evenin' gents,

No advice, just a story. My father (soon to be 98 years young) grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin USA. His family had a neighbor who had a unique way of using tabaco.

He would purchase brick tabaco for chewing.
When finished chewing, wads of tabaco were dried on the bar rafter and then smoked in a pipe.
When finished smoking, the tabaco ashes were collected in a tin a used as snuff.

    Quite frugal, eh?

Knew a guy that quit tobacco that way.

He switched to dip for two weeks to get off cigarettes. Then he just made himself swallow the juice. After two days of being completely green and puking several times he couldn't think about tobacco without nausea. Tossed the last half of a tin and never looked at another tin or smoke again.

I got a big order of snus in. I'm having a good morning. It really kicks the need to smoke in the ass. I haven't had a craving at all. I think the nicotine hit is slower but stronger than cigarettes. The flavour is quite specific but I expected that and so far I am impressed with it. I won't be using my nasal snuff to soon I think because this stuff is really nice.

i love snus. my favorite two brands are skruf stark loose and general onyx... both are extremely superb snus brands. By the way for anyone on here, snus and dip are two very different things. I used to dip but I just stick to snus now. check out SnusOn.com - Snus Forum :: Index

I don't know how it will work for your purposes as again I have not used it so.

Here I thought I had come up with some great new idea doing that... Nothing new under the sun I guess.

I like snuff once in a while, but it doesn't have enough nicotine for me.

I used to use a lot of snuff. I really like Rose of Sharow and the gawith non-metholated snuffs. All the metholated snuff did was stuff up my nose. There used to be an online site, tobacco barn I believe, that carried the sharow, gawith and T and F snuffs.

I dip Copenhagen when I am tattooing since I can't smoke my pipe in the shop. I like it but I don't do it otherwise.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I agree, Lynn. There are some really nice snuffs out there. I started using snuff to help ease the pain of quitting smoking (i.e. when puffing on a pipe just wasn't doing the trick). I stuck with the snuff and use it a lot more at work, where I can't just get up and enjoy a nice pipe at any time. One that has taken my fancy lately is Toque's chocolate. You can email [email protected] to request free samples.

here in the mountains snuff used to be dipped mostly by women. I know my grandmother dipped her whole like. it was a powder that looked just like the snuff that people put up there nose.
