Thanked: 9homebrew?
Any fellow beer homebrewers on this board? Perhaps anyone that's a member of homebrewtalk.com?
What have you brewed recently?

YES!!!
Hello,
Fellow homebrewer here. I brew mostly partial mash. I am certainly not skilled enough for all-grain batches. I currently have a Scotch ale in seconday fermentation and plan on brewing a raspberry mead next week.
I am also dying to brew lagers, but haven't found a cheap enough fridge around. Maybe in the next few months though. If you have any interesting recipes for a stout, send them my way. Especially a cherry or imperial stout. I am not a member of homebrewtalk.com.

Homebrewer here too! I've done whole grain for a few years. Lately not so much due to lack of time, but a few years back I made 1 or 2 5 gallon batches a month(!) I love brewnights, have to get some time to brew again.
Not participating on any forums though... I used to lurk on one or two "back then" but not anymore...

Thanked: 1212yep,
Another one of my many interests.
It's been a while, though.
About ten years ago, in a former life as pub-owner, I was really passionate about it, with plans for launching a microbrewery in the pub. We were in the test brewing phase. Eventually other considerations would lead me to sell my shares to my business-partner and pursue another career. Since then, most of my free time went into building my own house, and woodworking, which is another big passion of mine.
Not enough hours in a day, too little days in a year, too less years in a lifetime. It's a tragedy. But I still dream of catching up with the homebrewing again.

Thanked: 0I'm both a homebrewer and a member of homebrewtalk.com. (On there, I'm known as Regicider.) But I haven't brewed nor posted in quite a while. So far, I've done extract brews, but I'm inching my way to partial mashes. And straight razor shaving.
Hmmm... I can see it now: The Imperial Stout Shaving Soap! The head on that malty cake makes the best lather you'll ever experience, and what's more -- when you're done, just suck your shaving brush dry for that extra-special start to your day! :-)

Thanked: 0I've been doing partial mash brews for a couple of years. We just opened a vanilla porter that's been sitting since July; it came out pretty well. I'm a little nervous about going to full grain, though the idea of acquiring more equipment is very enticing.

Thanked: 1I've been making beer for maybe 15 or more years, but nothing in the past year or more. I've done several all grain batches, and have a temperature controlled environment for lagering.
I also dumped bottling and put all my beer into kegs- former soda kegs pushed by CO2. Nice to not have all that bottling to mess with.
Now if I can just get off my caboose and make some. Assuming I can find any hops............................

I usually make one or two batches a year. The last few years I've been doing all grain lagers and it just had gotten to the point where it felt more like work than fun.
My last batch was an all extract brown ale, talk about easy and fun again kept it simple no variables and wow nice beer to boot. Somtimes the easy way out is the best LOL

Thanked: 0We, too, brew about twice a year. We spend more time sitting around drinking beer and talking about how we should be brewing more frequently than we spend brewing.
