You need to search on the web. Oldwatch.com is one that comes to mind. Its run out of a pawn shop in Oklahoma but their stuff is decent and they do at least check the stock before it goes out however with any mechanical device that maybe well over 50 years old you really need to have it checked by someone who knows what they are doing and expect to have it serviced if you want it to run properly. Cost will depend on the size, brand, model and condition. These days you could buy from about $350 up to, well the sky's the limit but well over a grand.
As far as ball goes you need to forget their claims as to history. That's all rubbish. Its a typical Swiss made watch in the lower mid price category. If you like the style and the lume system and are willing to pay the price its a quality watch. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

A confession: I have too many watches to count, so I don't know the number... over a hundred, I think There must be a crossover between watches and straight razors. Razors are cheaper, which is a good thing.

Funny, I have yet to take any photos of my razors. Hmmm.Last edited by Ron Gallant; 12-05-2008 at 01:34 AM.

Nothing better than having a nice timepiece on your wrist. Just got an early xmas present from the wifey. Citizen eco-drive Skyhawk A-T radio controlled. Never needs a battery and never have to reset the time. This thing has way too many functions and tricks then I will ever be a le to figure out, but it looks and feels Awesome!
