Intersting. I've got 25000$ and I never even played.

So the moral of the story: if you work hard and save what you earn instead of gambling, you won't be as rich as the best / luckiest player, but you'll definitely outdo the average gambler

I once saw a documentary about people who play poker for a living. Thee is a handful of gifted few who are experts and make a fortune every year by playing the big tournaments. And some amassed a fortune of millions, bet it all, lost everything they owned incl their house, and managed to work their way back to the top.
But the vast majority (99%) needs to play 6 hours per day in order to just make a living.

Hey! Beating the odds is hard work! Although the SRP casino thankfully has barely tipped the tables in the favor of the player (however so slightly), at least for the two games I enjoy playing

Just curious then how you have $25,628 - did someone gift you $8?

I had forgotten all about it until you mentioned this, but I did indeed play once when the casino first opened.
I had some cash and decided to see if I could bet it all on black.
I don't know how it is now, but the amount you could bet was ridiculously low (like 20 bucks or so) so I placed a low bet and won, earning a whole 3 dollars (or something similar) so that is probably where the non-round number comes from. After that I didn't bother anymore.

And yet again it is proven that as a mod, I am under continuous scrutiny, and my every word is checked

Btw I also received a gift once, but I forwarded it all to one of our members who had lost all.
