My wife does say I’m special but I’m pretty sure she is not referring to the placement of my heart but to my insane addiction to multiple hobbies. The biggest one having to do with anything straight razor!! I wish I could add a sound bite of a doctor evil laugh after but you guys can use your imagination

70% of the heart is on the left aspect of your chest, your sternum being the center.
Used to have tats, had them removed decades ago.
They still make a part of my world go around tho,my wife is a laser nurse, she removes them
Think long and hard before you do it,JMO.

I love tattoos, but make sure you get it someplace easily covered and fallow these steps.
1 decided you want a tattoo
2 find the tattoo you want
    3 wait a month
4 do you still want it? Good wait another month
5 Still? Ask yourself is it ironic, silly, comic, or faddish in any way?
    6 Go get your ink

In 1969 I was accepted into a very prestigous medical program at stanford university.
Tats carried a big time stigmata back in the day,to the point it could hold back a career
Even today we have orderlys with beautifull full sleeves(I think thats what they are called) they have to wear cover gowns when dealing with patients,Is an unwritten hospital edict.
Have nothing against them in the least,is truley artwork.

That is exactly the process I am going through right now. I Picked the tattoo I want and now I’m just looking for a artist to really sketch it up so I can see it nicely done and not some half a** job me and my buddy did in Photoshop. I have seen plenty of guys with footprint tattoo but nothing like this

That I am aware of. I kept telling my brother-in-law to think about the placement of his ink but he never listened to me. He has plenty of ink on his legs and arm and some on his hands. Now he is looking for a steady job and is having a hard time finding a job because of his tattoo’s. On that note this will be hidden under my shirt even if I wear a short sleeve and leave 2 buttons open at the top. I don’t think a tattoo should be done to just show off but something for yourself. If it happens to be visible and you are in a line of work that it is acceptable so be it nothing wrong with that but not in my world. lol
    Thanks for the advice

You also have to think about what "age" will do to your body. Might look nice now. ?Where will it be in 20 yrs? Had a relative who's teen aged daughter who got a Tattoo of a Rose on her on her panty line. When she worked up the courage to tell her mother ... Her mothers only comment was '?? Why there? It'll look like a corsage when you get pregnant!'
    It's forever.
