It has injected some life into 2 middle aged dogs having a young puppy around the house.
It's funny how brave puppies can be. He's quite courageous considering Maximus is literally 30 times his size
Fenneko: 4 lbs
Maximus: 120 lbs
Sebastian can fit Fenny's whole head in his mouth and Max can fit Bassie's whole head in his mouth. So Max could eat Sebastian, eating Fenneko.
It took a little time for the grumpy old men to get used to the new kid but they are all buddies now.Last edited by PaulFLUS; 12-06-2020 at 11:40 PM.

You wanna be careful with those guys together unsupervised. I had a friend who had a Rottweiler and also one of those little critters like you have. They seemed to get along really well. Then one day the shrimp annoyed the big feller (I guess he was having a bad day) and the Rot grabbed the other one by the neck and threw him about 10 feet into the air. That was the end of him.

Good advice and I do keep an eye on them. You'd have to know Max though. He truly is a gentle giant. He could have (and maybe should have) really given it to Sebastian many times. He is so smart and so gentle. Still, I never forget that he is a dog that could kill you or me if he wanted to. He is a big totally bad ass dog. All it would take is for him to lose it once and he could break every bone in Fenny's body with one bite. I am constantly aware of that.

I've heard people say, "Why, a cat can tear up a dog." Not a dog that is serious about getting the cat. I used to have Dobermans back in the 80s. My big red boy Taz loved to chase cats.but he would hold back and not actually catch them. It was the country and the neighbors had "outdoor cats" they wouldn't keep out of our yard so they would just be there. Now my little bitch Tasha on the other hand was a different story. She was begging to go out one day. I didn't see until she was out the door like a thoroughbred out of the gate that the big tom was in the yard. That poor cat made a brave effort to get away until it was clear no was no way. He turned to stand his ground...big mistake. That little bitch grabbed him and commenced to shake and within half a second of shrill squealing and fur flying that big old tom cat was a rag doll. And she was probably only 65 lb. She was as gentle as a lamb around people but she would kill anything that she got her jaws on. She was forever bringing up some dead animal. One time she brought up a full grown raccoon. If you've ever had an encounter with a raccoon you know that takes some doing.

IF they let people like me, take care of the kind of people who did this to this dog there would be less people like them---

The boys have a new routine since the puppy came to us. Early morning is outside play time. They feel frisky when it's cool outside.
