That's a neat lil iron head. Know WAY too many buds that have blown knees out kickin those damn things. That blued front pipe and not blued rear pipe tells me either the pipes have been swapped, or she's running lean on that front jug. If you jet that motor up till it fouls the plug and then back it down one size, your pipes will never turn blue and your engine will run a LOT cooler. May stumble a bit in hot weather if ya twist the wick real quick but it'll take all you can give it below 85°F. Used to set all my old big twins that way and I routinely rode in 100°F plus weather. That little extra bit of fuel takes a lot the heat out of the combustion chamber. Run it lean and it'll get great gas mileage but it will cook the top end.

Tom, I well remember those three cyl Kawasaki bug smokers that would do nothing but FLY! That rubber front end they had on 'em always gave me wonder as to how they stayed together with those skinny. flimsy fork legs. I rode a few of 'em back in the day and decided that particular adrenaline boost wasn't for me. Gave up on two strokes before I ever got started on 'em.

My ridin' days are over, you youngsters can have it. Too many idiots with their heads buried in a cell phone trying to kill you nowadays.

HAR! Wullie posted! Mine were Suzukis. Water-cooled. Weighed about twice as much as the Kawi 750 smoker. Silly bikes, those things!
Agreed, lean is mean....for a while!
Off the street for me too. Vintage dirt bikes and old men!

It has newer been riden with those pipes I belive. It is an import from USA, and to get plates on it here u need silent pipes. There are stil some work to be done before it is road legal. Think I have alot of work ahead of me, but this bike was bought with the heart and not my brain:-/
