I was playing Touchstone in Banff, Alberta in Shakespeare's As You Like It back in '94 I think it was. I was going for 'snake-oil salesman'.

Doc, I love your period clothing and was wondering what is it that you are involved in that requires the clothing?

Not the best pic of me or the hat. I'll have to dig up another. This is a 80 year old Panama hat bought and worn by Chick Parsons when working in Panama in the 20's. It was given to me by his granddaughter after my second visit to the family house in the Philippines.

I say... That is remarqueable indeed! A hat with a lot of history to go with it... Talk about vintage!
The only thing I can remember that is similar is the Enrico Caruso's razor for sale on ebay ()....

I have a couple of hats myself: a grey fedora (I think it's a Fedora, at least) and a Brown Bombazine Thrilby from the 1970's. I also have a panama-like straw hat... I also have 3 caps, but those are not hats, are they? Oh! And a black berret just like our good friend Basil has... I'm also a cool cat!
