    Talking Summer Hat

    I traded a pocketknife for this Sombero. It has a 21-inch brim. I installed some grommets for ventilation. The grommets also anchor a sample piece of Radiant Barrier used in attics for extra protection against Texas Sun. It accents my ensemble of cargo shorts and aloha shirts. Sandals complete the wardrobe (socks worn after5). Cheap sunglasses an option.

    I go to Delmonico in New Haven. Nice old fashioned store where a couple of elderly guys, who know a heck of a lot about hats, help you pick and fit your hat. Reasonable prices, too. They also do online business.
