For my son's 14th Birthday I sold a very nice Ithica 22-250 to be able to afford to buy him this CZ 452 .22cal. It's discontinued now and for the life of me I can't figure out why;
CZ-USA CZ 452 Special Military Training Rifle - CZ-USA
It came with a target with 5 rounds shot into it at 50 meters. I'm sure that it was fired from a jig to ensure consistency. Four of the holes were in the bulls-eye no bigger than a dime. There was one 'zinger' that was about an inch away.
I waited to buy a scope for it until I felt that he really understood the rifle and was shooting as accurately as he was capable of. My grandfather was a Marksman in WW2 and he taught me to shoot and that's something that he insisted on.)
When I did buy a scope, I also bought the CZ rings to insure that they would mount properly since they were made for the gun and not a 'universal fit' set.
That thing will be driving nails long after I'm dead and gone and my son knows that.
He also knows that on a good day his old man can out shoot him from any position.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

I only have 2 guns in the arsenal right now. A 20 guage Mossberg 500, and a 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P. Both are terrific to shoot, and have yet to have a misfire with either! Next purchase will be a higher caliber rifle for hunting and such.

Thanked: 1936Love my little 938 too.
Try some Liberty "Civil Defense" ammo with it. Lightens the load even more & they pack a meal punch! Imagine, 50 gr bullet at 2000 fps!
Mine came with a factory laser...never used it. Just ordered another finger mag and shoot/carry it.
Lynn was telling me about how he had his worked over for a metal trigger & it made it even better to shoot...I've gotta look into that.Last edited by ScottGoodman; 03-18-2016 at 08:52 PM.
