I miss that too. I'm in college in South Carolina but originally from Northern Indiana. Those midwest summer days can't be beat in my book. Life just doesn't get any better.

Just today I have been listening to the thunder. It's an every day occurence here in Bangkok, especially at this time of year.

When I was young I was terrified of thunder. That was until one summer afternoon when my father took me out onto the veranda with him to watch the lightning and listen to the thunder. It was one of my memories of my father that will always remember fondly.
