Spent the afternoon breaking in a virgin Accuracy International 338 Lapua Magnum, then spent the evening drinking MacAllan 18 and smoking a nice Ghurka Black.

    hell of a day.

Last night I had a few pints of Black & Tan and a Balkin blend (an English blend that is mostly Turkish tobacco) in briar.

I got myself a box of those to celebrate my admission to grad school. They're a bit pricey for me, so I save them for special occasions. So, if you have one, have a puff or two for me.

I had a bowl of Balkin Exotic (a mix of four Turkish tobaccos and Latakia) in briar in the afternoon, and a mix of Ultimate Blend and Lenny's Own (both Virginia and Black Cav) in Meerschaum in the enening.

Watching the football games with a large glass (4 fingers) of Laphroaig and one of my Padron 64 anniversary. I didnt know how well the smokiness of the Laphroaig would blend with such a smooth cigar, but it actually compliments it quite nicely. I decided to treat myself because i just got a new Henckels Twins shave ready and had a very nice shave. Other than the smell slice i put in my face because i didnt pay attention to the spike point.

I got a little experimental and mixed a bit of Stonehenge (a straight burley) with Black Vanilla (Black Canevdish); it was warm enough to head up into my smoking lounge and I worked on my smoke rings.

I worked on those for about a year before perfecting the art. The next thing is to gather smoke in your mouth and try to create a ring by tapping your cheek. Then start doing it faster and faster until you can put rings through the other rings. And if you want to get really fancy, blow a smoke log (a long hollow tube of smoke). I cant do it, but two of my fraternity brothers can do it.
