Kitchen cabinets
A while back I had posted on making my own kitchen cabinets. Well, they have been finished for a few months but I finally got around to installing them. Now that I know they fit, I can say that I am kind of proud of them. Now she wants some in the bathroom, sewing room, a few more on the opposite side of the kitchen,........ Anyways, fun but time consuming project. Heres the pics:

The install looks great. Had you posted pics similar to the first one before? It looks very familiar.

Lookin' good- looks like solid to me! Nothing like solid oak cabinets and doors.

The interior sides looked like HDPB but it could just be the photos. Oak adorns my kitchen as well, but it came from the store, not the wood shed.

I can definitely see what you mean in a few spots. I guess we'll find out
I used to have solid oak. Now I have hollow particle board

I installed kitchens for 5 years, and id say you did a magnificent job. I never built my own, but i have helped people build them and i know its a pain in the arse. Are you going to add any hardware or leave them naked (as i call it) and by hardware i mean knobs/handles.

Thanks guys!
The fronts are all solid oak, the interiors are a finished grade ply.
As for hardware, the jury is still out on that. We will try it "naked" for a while, and if she wants knobs then I'll put them on. Easier to make a hole than cover one.
