Thanked: 586If played right the temp will simply love the use of a nice stiff rod swabbing that bore.

I know you're probably just joking around with this, Red, but I agree with Quick. Take a cold shower or ten instead.
All it takes these days is a seemingly innocuous crack about how you'd like to watch her polish your handle (gun that is, yuck yuck) slowly and it's in to sexual harassment suitsville.
Unless you own that company, have an active EPLI policy (Employment Practices Liability Insurance) with a very low deductible that you're willing to use and then lose that coverage.....bad idea.
If you DON'T own the company, even if you're chummy with the boss, unless you're related to him, your job would most likely be bye bye after he either has to pay a $10,000 EPLI deductible or has to pay upwards of $100,000+ in defending an harassment claim even if it's groundless if he doesn't have EPLI coverage. Then it's "Why did you leave your last job?" ......"Well the funny thing about that is.......".
Harassment suits in the workplace are nothing new, but businesses are now able to buy EPLI at a much lower premium than previously available and are falling over each other to get it for the simple fact that it costs absolutely NOTHING for a former employee (even a temp can bring suit if they're not an employee) to make allegations of harassement and the average defense costs to a business to fight even a groundless claim are literally six figures.
Not to be a downer or anything.

I say just flirt her into submission. Then, she will do the guns for free just to hang out with you.

Thanked: 369I admit, I hate gun cleaning. The main reason I rarely shoot my Uberti replica Colt 1860 Old Army black powder pistols. They are a pain to clean.

Thanked: 369Oh I know. That's exactly what I do, but I usually finish with putting all the metal parts in a warm (not hot) oven to make sure they're dry, grease and re-assemble. Still a pain. Seems like more time cleaning than shooting. Still fun to shoot, but I dread the cleaning.

those of you taking it too seroiusly, thanks for warnings but relax. if it makes you feel better you can reread and insert something else, like the babysitter, girl at the video store. whichever one bothers you least and stilll completes the dream.
