I don't know about that. Some of the Fountain pens I've seen lately aren't that far off from very good quality watches.

On a very positive note, razors seem to be a much cheaper hobby than fountain pens... and fountain pens were worlds cheaper than good watches.
I still think about getting a classic moonwatch one day, although the new version with the co-axial movement, like that in your PO, looks really good. I don't own a chrono, but I still haven't given up hope on a Calibre 11 Heuer Carrera. Maybe you hava a lead on one, Nelson?

Yeah, fountain prices have gone up for some brands. I am lucky I got into them back when I did.

If you had asked me about this at this time last year I had that exact watch but sold it to a guy in Switzerland. I also had an Autavia I sold also. If you want a classic moonwatch you want the one with the classic mvmt.

    Default Zodiac Watches

I am a big fan of Zodiac watches. The old ones that were made before the company was sold. The Sea Wolf and The Super Sea Wolf were among the most attractive watches I have known. Fossil bought out Zodiac and no longer makes the type of watches that Zodiac were famous for. They were very popular among military personnel.

If I could afford one of those I'd buy this site.

Actually you can get a Chinese version for about 3 grand.
Are we talking about the same thing here?
I've seen Tourbillon watches for under a grand.
Granted, still many times more than what I spend on a watch, but not shocking compared to high end razors.

The cheapest ones I've seen are at least 3 grand and those are the Chinese versions. I've never seen one for a grand.

Nice watch however Hamilton is a Swiss brand. They used to be an American brand prior to the 1960s but were bought out. They are part of the same outfit that owns Omega.
