We are currently on our second PT Cruiser,GT manual and ver happy with them. Hope to upgrade to a Jeep Wrangler 4 door. Herself is hoping I will get rid of my ancient 77 F250 long bed pickup which pulls the 4 horse gooseneck. Fat chance as I just rebuilt the 351 cleveland, 1/4 race cam and Holley 600 double pumper, really makes the nags sit back on the tailboard!! I have another cabin for the pickup as the roof is about rusted off, and the plods will put me off the road !!
Cheers

Cadillacs are for mature, sensible, and successful individuals... not old men!
I like plenty of foreign cars as well (mostly British, though my "other car" is a 1973 Porsche..), but just have a soft spot in my heart for American iron.

Thanked: 522My spare car
In 1996 I bought a 1978 Silver Anniversary Vette with 153 miles on the odometer. It was a show car for years. Since then I have about 5900 miles on it and I put about 200 miles per year on it. I drive my state inspection guy nuts every April when I get it inspected. It's a 350 L-82 mild cam and runs great. The air-pollution stuff really slows it down though........

There are many quality American cars out there currently being manufactured. I can think of cars like the Chevy Corolla and the Ford Civic and the Chrysler 626 and err, well,...

Thanked: 335Enjoy 'em whilst you can, boys. Between cap and trade, the government running GM, OPEC's games, and the effective new prohibition - diverting alcohol from drink to fuel - soon getting them in and out of the garage will require much push.

Thanked: 235If I have learned anything from American movies it is that American cars always explode when in an accident.
