Gregs, move to the US and you can have the real thing
Good looking gun Alex. I hope you enjoy it (I'm sure you will). Like you said, the great thing about a 22 is that it's super cheap to plink with. I feel bad for the 45 guys right about now

Thanked: 1587I am reminded of the (paraphrased) words of Mr Miyagi: "Just remember, gun never replace eye, ear, and brain."
Nice looking gun though Alex.

Thanked: 4Very pretty, but in 22LR it would be difficult for me to imagine a better gun than a S&W Model 41.

$1,300 (S&W) vs. almost $400 (Taurus) with most likely marginal accuracy difference? I'm not trying to win competitions here. Not yet. Plus Taurus' warranty just cant be beat. I mentioned I was also checking out the Smith 617 which came in at almost $700. Everyone I could find who knew of/shot both guns said the Smith was no where near being a $300-better gun. I'm happy with my choice so far lol.

Ya got that right. I was barely able to find three 50-round bricks when this whole ammo shortage started rearing it's ugly head. I haven't had the money to buy anymore even if I do see them. Thank gawd ball works in .45s pretty good because I ain't got money for hollow points right now. It's insane.
