Years ago, as I was leaving Boot Camp in Illinois, I was waiting for my plane with my new pair of roughly $200 Oakley's in my lap. I stood up, grabbed my bags and must have dropped the glasses. Felt sick for a while over that situation.

Good sunglasses or worse yet, good, stylishly cool sunglasses and teenage boys are a very bad combination, because unless you wear them to bed, you will forget where you put them and they will disappear without a trace. After the boys left, I noticed an immediate gain in memory because I haven't lost a pair since. Same thing with shirts, knives and tools...amazing!
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

I too have a pair of RayBan that date way back but
the shades I keep in my car I got on sale at a good
fly fishing store. Slightly wrap around, neutral gray
and polarized.
Peddle bike shops also have some wrap around
versions I like. I do watch for sales.....

Thanked: 102Take a look at Moscot Eyewear in New York City. They have some great styles from the 30's and 40's and you can get G15 lens and prescription lens. Great Shades.

Wow Ray Ban's from the 80's, Serengeti's and then in the early 90's for the Maui Jim's... I remember those 80 dollar glasses that seemed to keep getting more and more expensive over the years. It really sucks to be very light sensitive and require a prescription. The only ones that I wear any more are Oakley's for both sunglasses and normal wear. At least I find them to be the best for me on the track for overall field of vision clarity. And since both glasses cost a small fortune, they are the only ones that I have. But I do really love them and they are about the only ones that seem to keep me from getting migraines anymore. So the cost, to me, is worth it.
