I have a couple of nice money clips laying around somewhere. one silver with gold designs, one with a little knife gadget thing. never use them.

small walled, id one side and few cards the other, goes front left pocket. money folded in half goes front right pocket. that's it. if I have a watch pocket I put my cell phone in it. knife goes right pocket too. I've carried everything this way for over a decade.

I carry mine in my front pocket; the wallet is pretty thin and it sits in front of or behind my phone (Razor - also thin). When I'm in my house, wallet gets dumped with the keys. When I'm at work, wallet gets locked in the desk.

EDIT: Reading through this thread reminds me of the good old college days, where all I needed to carry was my room key, ID, and phone (had the same phone, and since it's a flip phone, I used to put my ID inside it).
I've always carried my wallet in my front pocket as well. The lighter wallet shaped imprint in my jeans can attest to that. It feels more comfortable to me in thinking that if someone was going to try to steal my wallet I'd have a better chance of feeling it if they were to dig deep in my front pocket that lift the wallet from my back pocket.

i use wallet for plastic and other random crap, which sometimes tends to overstuff it. i should go thru it soon and thin it down. money i just fold in half and put it in my left-hand pocket. just don't keep your keys in the same pocket as your money. not a good combination

It's slim and I can't over stuff it like a bi or tri-fold.

I have a Bosca "front pocket" wallet/money clip. I've had it for 3-4 years, and am loving it.

This is what I usually carry with me, so you can imagine...no need for gym:

I do have a couple of nice money clips and use then from time to time, but favourite is one I got in Disneyland a couple of yeards ago, a mix of clip and card holder. The problem is that is a magnetic clip and I have had some issues with credit cards, so only use it if only carrying the notes and ID....

Thanks for all the information guys! I ended up getting one from the Saddleback Leather Company. Nice, small and comes with a 100 warranty! This stuff is tuff and look like something Indiana Jones would use. Thanks again.

I carry a wallet in my front left pocket for credit cards, driver's license, insurance card, and the like. I do keep an emergency cash in the wallet, but use a money clip. I fold the money with the larger bills on the bottom of the stack so that when I take it out no one can tell if I have ones, fives, tens or twenties. Like was said, I don't won't prying eyes scoping my fundage.

I carry a wallet most of the time but when the wife and I step out I use my clip for cash and drivers ID in the front pocket.
