I do freshwater fish with a planted tank.
Besides the fishtank, I conduct cycling, swimming, shooting/gun collecting, and the family among other things.

When I am not doing this stuff ... I am usually either, breathing, sleeping, or drinking coffee.

I might get a shave in every once in a while haha.

My girlfriend is off galavanting in Europe so it's just me and the boys this week. I'm not bored mind you. I just found myself practicing some knot tying and that lead to thoughts about rigging and then, well, before I even realized it, I was hoisting a heavy oak cabinet and tying it off to a table one third the weight of the cabinet:

You can see how Mr. Toes is fascinated by the physics all around him.

I know why block and tackles mathematically work it just never seemed to have any "common" sense to it.

    Lol btw.

It's not quite in the same vein, but close...

A few years ago the Yellow Pages in the UK had the following listing:

    Boring -- see Civil Engineers

It never failed to make me smile.

Now I must be sure to break it all down before the boss gets home or I will be hanging from it.

But it will be enshrined forever on the inner-web!
Seriously, too cool though. Looks almost like the stuff I saw in college, but a bit more restrained...
A fellow student at my college built his own tank... just put a video up on the blog..

I always post this site when I think of bored or time crunched engineers.
