Bored Engineers
Hey folks... Being an engineer and knowing several I got the idea today that it would be interesting to see what kind of stuff engineers do when they get bored. Ways to let the engineering juices flow when you don't have anything "better" to do. So I set up a blog!

I wouldn't doubt that. I knew an engineer who was also a commercial pilot, flew his own float plane for fun, built his own beautiful home with 12" thick walls and also to withstand hurricane force winds just for the heck of it. He also took apart and restored virtually anything with an internal combustion engine again, just for fun.

Thanks for the comments guys... You can also post comments directly in reply to other messages on the blog. I can post some of these up too. I'd like to get it set up as a more easily "user submitted" thing but still trying to figure that one out..

Yea that too... I seem to always find random hobbies. If I could just find hobbies that were free I'd be in good shape!
