I am a big fan of clawfoot tubs. My ex-wife was an even bigger fan. Right before the first time she moved out, I had found a very old tub, had it brought back to its previous glory. I also had hired a contractor to come and do the significant work that would have needed to be done to install it all over a four day period she was to be out of town, with a nice surprise when she returned home. I was notified of her plans to move out in the days before said trip.
Lets just say we never got the tub, and the money invested in it so far and saved for the installation....well, I got a box of cigars from an estate in London that hadn't been opened since the late 70's, and a bottle of the best Cognac I have ever tasted. They were yummy.
