Love my vanishing point. Just a little over 100.00 though about 130.00 from Richard Binder. On the cheep my everyday pen is a Lamy Vista around 30.00+-. I am a mechanic and I hate to get the VP dirty.

I have purchased mine here There is a huge variety in terms of both cheap chinese and nicer pens. I actually have a crazy $8 chinese one with a + shaped nib that writes better than anything else I have used.

conklin
Conklin pens are worth looking at for cartridge fountains. Can find a good deal on ones on sale. But I will caution that they have produced a few duds. Even so, they stand behind their product and as in the case of the one I found on sale that the ink wouldn't flow worth a crap out of, they fixed it even though it was way beyond the warranty.

Thanked: 25Another Vanishing Point user here.
It really fits my style. I suggest finding a store that will let you try many different pens before purchasing. The place I went to asked several questions and suggested the VP, and after about an hour of trying them all, he was right.
regards,
jeff
