It sure would be nice...but checking out other options too..
    Congrat's on the new place.

I live in a decent house here in San Diego, and our pool cost almost that much.

I guess the fact that when everyone was complaining about the sub-zero temperatures, I was sitting on the beach in 78 degree weather should make me feel better, but it doesn't.

It sounds great till you find the house needs over $30,000 to be livable...

    That's great Craig!

I am also moving into my own/first house on the 30th of this month. Although mine was built circa 2010. It has taken 18 months of planning and 4 months of construction but as of tomorrow the house is done.

Congratulations to you. I will also post about mine after I have things settled.

Oh, and my new shave den is a two sink mammoth. I am going to love the extra space. As I know you are yours.

Wow! A double sink in a Japanese size house, now that is impressive!

    Talking

    Hey, hey, Sera,

New single family houses are great! I hope you enjoy yours enormously. I have one of my own where I get to mow the lawn weekly in the summer, shovel the sidewalks and driveway whenever it snows, repaint the siding and trim on both the house and garage this summer, replace the kitchen faucet which has decided to drip and parts aren't available, probably have the driveway replaced this year along with the sidewalks that I lovingly shovel (theyr'e all cracked and pushed akimber from capricious frost heaving), listen to the neighbors' dogs bark endlessly, and, and, and... Is that glass half empty or half full? I haven't exactly figured that one out yet.
