One of the things that I loved about the new place: if you look in the front yard there is a lamppost there. It is gas-fired and stays on day and night at no cost to us. Apparently it was some sort of promotion from the gas company back when the house was built, as the supply line comes before the metered gas. Anyhow, thus there is an eternal flame burning at casa de Seraphim, and I find the lamppost to be very Narnia-esque, especially in the new fallen snow. Can't beat that!
