    I hear you there - I learnt to cook on a ceramic-electric stove, and have had that or an electric stove in my house since then. However, my school had gas stoves in the cooking classroom and they were phenomenal (in NZ, all non-home-schooled students take cooking, sewing, metalwork and woodwork at certain ages in their schooling). Ever since I stopped taking cooking I've always wanted a gas stove in my kitchen, but never been able to afford it. When I finish University and get a job, I hope to get a house with one.

    I forgot to mention and for the sake of full disclosure, to make the batch you see in my pics, I only had 2% milk on hand. The eggs were still delicious. I guess you could say that's a lower calorie alternative for you?
