My daughter has two Sugar Gliders, which are small Australian marsupials. I look after them when she's away. One doesn't seem to like me and the bite is fairly painful.

Growing up I had Molly the guinea pig, then Molly #2 when she died. I think Molly #2 was a boy but he ran away after a few days.
Then Rambo the mouse, then Elizabeth the mouse. Then I bought another guinea pig with a friend and he decided to call it Judas. It ran away after a few days. And some chickens which got eaten by a fox before I could even name them.
These days it's just the odd spider that comes into the apartment. They stay for a few days then head off.
I also had fish when I was young. Having an aquarium is something I'd really like to do again. These days there are so many varieties and products commonly available.I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

I had an iguana, a prairie dog and a 10 ft red tailed boa - not all at the same time.
Iguana was a jerk, so I sold him, prairie dog was really cool, had him for quite a long time, and the boa go too big for me to handle as an amature. She is now being bred.

When I was younger, we used to breed stick insects. We must have had a thousand of them at the peak. Most went to local classrooms where they still reside.
More recently I had a couple of axolotls. I love people's reactions when they see them. "What is that?!" The pair recently died after more than ten years of swimming around eating worms and fish.
