lol I need to go to one of these finally show my face to everyone here, have a beer etc... what do you guys normally bring with you for these events, do you bring all your gear?

Last year in Asheville, there were more hones, razors, and strops than I can remember.

To say nothing of all the extra stuff like t-shirts, paddle strop blanks, custom and vintage blades for sale.

Its just plain awesome!

Asheville was fantastic. Unbelievable hospitality and comaraderie. Razor and hone overload, custom makers, non stop honing, one or two adult beverages and a bunch of cigars. Really worth the trip.

Hopefully I'll get to a meetup before too long...

Stubear, I know Bart had a meetup for the European contingency...and they have better beer than we do here

There was one in GB in 2009 and maybe another one in Europe somewhere...
