Thread: Phone calls from SRP friends !!!

I tell ya, this is one of the things I truly enjoy...

Back in the early days of the "Chat Crazies" I started talking with Byron Todd and Doc then after the first NC RazorCon I was talking with Lynn, Hoglahoo, and Sicboater, and of course the famous Simon Coully
Soon Mad Maximilian and I would be BS'n about restore stuff, now and then I get to talk to the now Infamous Gugi...
Phone calls over the last few years from Ice Dog, SR-CMT, Alraz, Milton Man and Englishgent just to name but a few...
But I gotta tell ya the last two guys that called me were a ton of fun, first about 3 weeks ago I was giving my good friend Jimbo a hard time in chat, about how come he never calls me, as I had talked to Lynn and Max that weekend, he gave me some half baked excuse about Australia next day, I get home from work to a phone call, and hear in that Aussie accent, "G'Day Mate" just made my day talking with Jimbo... Now today, I got the pleasure of talking with Beberlin... I tell you guys, Robin talks just like he types too, "Cheers Glen" greeted me on the other end of the phone.. He and I talked for the better part of an hour, what a great time...

So yes I would say that one of the finer things in life for me, is the ability to make this world just a bit smaller and a lot friendlier through SRP ...

I truly enjoyed talking to you and the few other member that I have had the fortune to speak on the phone or meet personally. This type of interaction is one of the things that makes this forum great. I only wished that I could extend this interaction by having one or a few cold ones with you guys, perhaps at the next NC RazorCon. I normally do not post much on this forum but this one I could not let it go by without a reply.

I haven't talked to too many guys on the phone, but Lynn's greetings or initial responses on the phone always make me laugh out loud.

"Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa baby!"

I sure have a blast when I talk to both the G brother and Da Master Lynn. It's my weekly (or even more) fix
Just recently got of the phone with Jimmy and that was a blast too.

In fact I always have a blast and enjoy talking to any of our SRP colleagues, friends or anyone just calling for straight shaving related advise.

It's what makes us such a great community and yes one of the finer things of life.

I had the pure pleasure of speaking with Sham, Joed, Max, Randy and with Lynn all within the past week or two.

It's not fair you guys having all the fun. Guess I'll have to get some phone numbers and start punching some numbers.

If any of you get a call and your caller ID,
Says it's someone in "Crossville, Tennessee",
Don't answer, it'll be me...............

I wonder if Voice Chat will be an option some time soon

I think one of the biggest pleasures this ol' Walrus gets is getting to talk to you guys from here on the phone. It is always a highlight of my day.

(and thus long-distance). Ideally Skype or voice-chat would
