Thanked: 30
Another route would be to use crystal cigar tubes. They work great and don't take up that much space. I also suggest to fill them up with distilled water not tap water. Tap water breaks down the crystals and they will evaporate. You can also look Into the oasis system. They last for months at a time without needing to be recharged. And they electronicaly monitor the humidity.

Very nicely done. We can never have enough cigars!

I have a couple for transit storage, but it would take around 20 of those tubes to be effective in this big guy. You should always use distilled water. Tap will clog and harden the crystals with minerals as it evaporates. It will work, but shortens the life of the humidifiers.

That is a good thing. Spanish cedar is not like aromatic cedar you find in closets. It is not a cedar at all, it is actually a mahogany. The wood imparts a sweet aroma to the cigars but more importantly, it has the unique ability to maintain 70% humidity. Cigars are best stored at 26-30% humidity with 28 being about perfect IMHO.

Been there many times. They are up in Bethlehem, just outside of Allentown. About an hour up the north east extension. Cigars.com and famous smoke shop are up there as well. I believe they all share the same warehouse although I did read that CI was moving the warehouse so they may have their own dedicated place.
There are a few photos of me at various events on the web page. Take a look at 'todays joe', I was the joe of the day on the 1st.

A couple of those boxes have other sticks in them. The CAO anniversary box is full of Camacho Triple Maduro's. Some of the boxes are made to be to decorative and just take up to much space so I will put them in smaller, more humidor friendly boxes.
Finished with lunch, time for a Montecristo and stroll by the river.
