I like the opposite of the OP's photos, (and of what I have now, which is a modern style) ... smaller, traditional, subway tile, pedestal sink, clawfoot tub... preferably with someone to scrub my back. Well at least I have the last item.

Oh man the Photoshop's are fired up... look out!

Am I the only one who thinks that those two big box looking things are probably full to the brim with straight razors? It almost looks like each of the squares could hold one razor.

I asked Uncle Jethro and he says he dreams of the day he doesn't have to go to the outhouse in the middle of the night.

Thanks. It's actually part of the apartment. I must admit that I found it a bit strange looking too (and yes, my knee jerk reaction was, 'get rid of it, and replace it with a nice big mirror that spreads across the vanity, with detail round the edges'), but the ceiling height is roughly 12 feet, and all in all, it does not look that bad (if you don't get eye cancer immediately).

    Question New pictures

In the spirit of creating the "perfect Zen" zone for guys to shave and do, well, whatever...what do you guys/gals think about the following:

I think the first one looks extremely dangerous, can you imagine how slippery that floor is when you step out of that tub?

The second one is very nice, I really like that kind of shower.

    Default Our dream bathroom

    Robert,

Although we found our current house under construction and didn't get to design the space, at least we got to pick out tile, cabinets, paint, etc. It's as close to a dream bathroom as I imagine we'll ever get.

One thing it lacks that we really want is a private outside shower that leads into the master BR - for romantic showers on cool autumn nights or when you've been working in the yard and don't want to walk through the house to get to the shower.

That is very nice Zen zone Greg...you can both fit in at the same time with room to maneuver .
