I get Early Morning and 965 from this brick & mortar: www.DanishPipeShop.com - looks like they also ship intl.
There's also these guys: Dunhill Tobak

I'll be happy to help you guys get some shipped over there, I know holli is also looking, but it's probably not going to be cheap, since tobacco is heavily taxed here.

My local shop does matches to Dunhill 965 and Early Morning; I love both. They also have a house blend called Gentleman's Blend - IIRC it is Virginia, Burley, and Black Cav with honey and whisky. It's the only non-English I smoke regularly.

    I also love Penzance.

Going to the site it appears they are selling tinned 965. I always bought bulk, one to five pounds and put it in mason jars. Now I've pretty much replaced it with GL Pease Blackpoint. McCranies has a blend made for them called Nine To Five that is very similar as well. So for the expense of having it shipped from Denmark I think it would be prohibitive for me. Thanks very much for the offer though.

    Default Pipe Tobacco

    Gentlemen:

Ah, you're making me miss my pipe. It's been a while.

Gawith & Hoggarth rum flake, Dunhill 965, Solani, MacBaren plumb cake and McClellan virginias were some of my favorites. My most favorite, though, was Balkan Sobrani, which is no longer produced, as I understand, or was it taken over by Sassini? I don't know.

Those were the good days of my Comoys, the Dunhills, the Charatans, the . . . Long gone for me, except that I enjoy them through you gentlemen.

    Thanks for the memory.

    Regards,
    Obie

Obie, the Balkan Sasieni was supposedly made with the original formula but it wasn't the same IMO. Not bad but not up to the level of the old stuff. I don't know if they still make it. I smoke old Comoy's, Dunhills, Sasienis, Castellos, Ashtons and more. I wish I could quit and sell every last one and pay my condo off and have money left over to buy the additional razors and hones I really need.

    Hello, Jimmy:

Thank you for the information on Balkan Sobrani. That was my first tobacco, when I lived in San Francisco. I used to buy it from a tobacconist on Market Street called Grant. It is no longer there. I was lucky enough to have been introduced to Balkan Sobrani by a friend. Because of that, I never smoked the junkie tobaccos in the beginning. I went straight for the top. I smoked it for years. Through the years, although I smoked a variety of other tobaccos, I always kept my stash of Balkan Sobrani fresh in the humidor.

Some years ago, my wife and two daughters kept after me to quit my pipes. I finally did. At the same time, I had started shaving with a straight razor. I made a bargain with them that I would quit if instead I could buy some straight razors. They agreed.

Now if any one of the princesses makes a comment on my modest collection of straight razors, I say, "You made me quit my pipe."

I'm smart, yes, sir — but I think they outsmarted me.

    Regards,
    Obie

I've finally learned to appreciate Virginia/Perique blends such as Anniversary Kake and Bald headed Teacher as well as the classic Escudo. However, OTC cheapies are fine with me too. Granger, Carter Hall, Sugar Barrel, Prince Albert, I like 'em all. The only type of mixture I do not like is the full flavored Latakia blends.

I prefer G. L. Pease Odyssey. I find it quite pleasing.

    Default Non smoker

Gentlemen: I have not smoked since February 10th of this year. Prior to stopping years ago I smoked a tobacco called Three Nuns that was from Scotland. I smoked this tobacco in a Calabash Gourd pipe with mershum instert. It was the best smoke I ever had. I also used Comoy pipes. It was necessary that I quit smoking for my health. I miss my tobacco but I am determined not to take it up again. I loved tobacco in all forms. I could not control the juice but loved the taste of copenhagen snuff and Black Maria chewing tobacco. I smoked Camel, Phillip Morris and Picayune non filtered cigarettes for years. I recently sent JimmyHAD my tins of tobacco that I had left over. Enjoy your pipes and tobaccos.
