How does it carry compared to the Keltec variety??

    Very nice!!!!

It is a lot heavier Lynn. Fully loaded it weighs in at 18oz. My S&W Airlight PD340 tips the scales at 13.8 oz with five +P 38s in it. So I may continue carrying the Smitty but I'm not sorry I got this. It is a sweet shooter and a beautiful piece. BTW, I shot my friend's first generation Kel-Tec 380 and it is too light for comfortable shooting IMO. Nice for CCW but not fun to shoot. This is heavier but fun to shoot and ergonomically comfortable with what little recoil it has. Been a long while since I shot the Kel-Tec but IIRC it was very snappy and the trigger guard punished me.

HUGE +1. This is one of the more comfortable .380's I've ever shot. The only other one that comes to mind is the PPK. Between the weight and the single action trigger the P238 is a pleasure to shoot. (plus it has decent sights, unlike most of the small breed .380's)
The downside of course is that it isn't quite as small or quite as light as many of the others.

I like it. I would like it better with black grips, but that's just my taste.

Sigs are known for their reliability. I have never owned one, but I will one day. I have owned glocks, springfields, rugers, taurus, berettas, and a kimber. The kimber was the most expensive and least reliable.

... somedays I wish I was an American....

I don't think I even know anybody that owns a handgun....

When you guys say "carry" do you mean that you carry these around with you? Like everyday... everywhere? Like to work, and shopping and stuff?

Yes and no, I could carry it everywhere but I usually only carry it at work. Two murders two blocks away within a month ago and more then that in the past few years. Here we believe it is better to be tried by twelve than carried by six.

I know nothing about guns... those look nice, though.
Just out of curiosity: how much does a pistol like that cost? I haven't the faintest idea.

Too much. Go to Guns America here and feast your eyes.

Really like Sig's. You just cant bust them. A couple hundred rounds is nothing for these guys. I have a P220 and 229 and would not trade them for the world. Nearly as accurate as a custom at a much more wallet friendly price. Have fun.
